New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Never skinned one to see what internal damage looks like but I handload 53gr VMax for my 55.6.
I’ve shot them at 50 yards with them broadside and the bullet didn’t pass through.
Never had one take a single step after being shot with those. And I’ve shot several.
I typically shoot subs through my G19+Obsidian 9 but every time I try full power loads I get blasted in the face with shit.
Anyone else have this issue?
I’ve shot several matches there and shot some of the Saturday morning “Gnome” matches.
The staff were all fantastic and the range was amazing.
They had put in a bathroom facility, not just porta potties. Had installed a damn helipad in case of emergencies. Had new props/cars/poppers/ every...
Anyone have any insight? I returned a muzzle device and was awaiting my refund and emailing back and forth to a person and then suddenly crickets. Tried calling their number on their website and the number is no good. Tried "contact us" and sending a message through their website and nothing...
Yes it is.
I got it in yesterday.
I used a thin and stiff but malleable rod and slid it through the vent holes in the hand guard and pried the end up into the receiver.
It didn’t take much once I got something with the right stiffness. But it was an unnecessary pain in the ass.
I’ve tried a slight bend and also tried a long skinny screwdriver but neither worked.
Getting ready to work at it again.
Would be so simple of the damn hand guard slid of and didn’t screw off.
I was going to replace the factory gas block on my RRA LAR308 with a Superlative Arms adjustable block so I can shoot suppressed.
I have the new block on the factory gas tube but I cannot get the gas tube slid up in the correct spot on the receiver. It needs to go up about an 1/8 inch to get...
I swapped out my buffer and put my SCS from another rifle in and ran 90 rounds through it yesterday without a hitch.
I think it was something about the recoil impulse and my trigger technique.
Seems like problem is solved though.
Thank you guys. S197, kinda what I was wondering. I’m used to shooting bolt guns and ARs with much heavier triggers.
Still need to do the trigger function check. Ran out of time yesterday.
