I typically shoot subs through my G19+Obsidian 9 but every time I try full power loads I get blasted in the face with shit. Anyone else have this issue?
Much less shit hits me in the face when I use my subsonic loads. If I’m using full power loads I make sure and wear eye pro. And also have to wear ear pro. The full power stuff is still too loud and that’s from me, a guy with bad hearing requiring hearing aids.
I like mine. Obsidian 9. When I’m walking around at the farm I can keep my pistol in my holster and my can in my pocket. With a quick attach system it’s like 1/3 turn or something to put it on so it’s ridiculously fast. The only 9mm ammo I load is my subsonic stuff to shoot suppressed. I like...
I’ve shot several matches there and shot some of the Saturday morning “Gnome” matches. The staff were all fantastic and the range was amazing. They had put in a bathroom facility, not just porta potties. Had installed a damn helipad in case of emergencies. Had new props/cars/poppers/ every...
Anyone have any insight? I returned a muzzle device and was awaiting my refund and emailing back and forth to a person and then suddenly crickets. Tried calling their number on their website and the number is no good. Tried "contact us" and sending a message through their website and nothing...
Yes it is. I got it in yesterday. I used a thin and stiff but malleable rod and slid it through the vent holes in the hand guard and pried the end up into the receiver. It didn’t take much once I got something with the right stiffness. But it was an unnecessary pain in the ass.
I’ve tried a slight bend and also tried a long skinny screwdriver but neither worked. Getting ready to work at it again. Would be so simple of the damn hand guard slid of and didn’t screw off.
I was going to replace the factory gas block on my RRA LAR308 with a Superlative Arms adjustable block so I can shoot suppressed. I have the new block on the factory gas tube but I cannot get the gas tube slid up in the correct spot on the receiver. It needs to go up about an 1/8 inch to get...
I swapped out my buffer and put my SCS from another rifle in and ran 90 rounds through it yesterday without a hitch. I think it was something about the recoil impulse and my trigger technique. Seems like problem is solved though.
