I run a Steiner p4xi on a piston 8.5 inch 300 Blackout, but it's also host to a Thunderbeast Ultra 9 inside the hand guard. so not quite typical SBR length.
I thought spuhr was going to be making a base for the ZCOMP which should also have a level built in I think. I am excited to see what Kahles brings to the table. I was leaning at trying out a 624i but now I’m going to wait for some reviews for between the ZCOMP and Kahles.
The PIG0311-G field tripod recently came out about a month ago and a lot of people have had great experiences with it, including myself. It's about $150 shipped. Not as light or steady at a RRS or feisol but a good budget tripod that can support up to 26lbs. There is a thread about it, farther...
I've never tried Retumbo, but my load is 91gr of H1000 out of a 29" barrel, 9.4 twist with lapua scenars and lapua brass loaded at OAL of ~3.741. Can't remember the exact measurement to the Ogive as I don't have my book in front of me. Produce 1/3 MOA. Don't know the velocity as I have never had...
For me when I dropped my stuff off at Phoenix Custom rifles, It was $450 for them to barrel the action, install a APA fat bastard break and cerakote the barrel (finished at 29") and break.
In the market for a bump die and wanted to see what dies people have been using to shoulder bump their .338 LM cases. So I can get an idea what has been working well for people and so forth . Thanks in advance!
Haha, was just wondering because some dies are better for bumping shoulders than others. Thanks for the info though Chris. Ill have to look into getting one for bumping shoulders, as the one I have isn't cutting it lol -Branden

Re: Looking to build a 338 Lapua need some help. Im currently running a Stiller TAC338 as well for my 338LM and it has been rock solid, very smooth. Have it dropped in a McRee stock, which I love, but some people don't like the look of them.
Re: Mcree stock cheek piece I also run my 338 LM in a McRee stock, it's very comfortable. I use a piece of mole skin on the check piece, for when it's cold, it works wonders.
