Need some help..... a little confused

I went ahead and ordered a cheap pic rail and ring set. I am sure down the line I will upgrade the optic package. But for now it will serve its purpose. Let 9yr old get some trigger time and plink. Then I can get some wabbits and tree rats!!!

I ordered the larger bolt knob for my non PRS and it works just fine. I actually love the feel and it makes it much easier, especially if wearing gloves.

I normally would have done that but I was short on time and the ammo. I just picked up another box and shoot again. But I am comfortable with what I got.

    Learned a valuable lesson

Never said I couldn't sight in a rifle. The whole point was that by the time I shot several rifles I (me) was wore out and my shooting mechanics were not the greatest. I took the rifle to the range this morning and confirmed that I was on. I will get some pics and post.

    Learned a valuable lesson

I joined while I was in Afghanistan and actually completely forgot about the account. I just recently got back on here because over the past 8 years I have moved 5 times in 4 states for work. I haven't been that "available" to really shoot. Combined with all that most of my guns have been...

    Learned a valuable lesson

We were using a shooting bag but the table was so low that I was hunched over bad. I had the scope checked today and rings, they are good. I think it was more me and the shooting position I was in. Going to the indoor range tomorrow with a guy I trust and had a lot more "expertise" than I do...

    Learned a valuable lesson

As the title says, I learned a good lesson yesterday. I tried to zero 5 new rifles and scopes, that is way to many. I am not 20 anymore nor do I have those eyes either. I started with a 300 Win Mag (8 shots), Sig Cross 308 (to many, over 30), AR10 (7 shots), AR10 (9 shots), Back to the Cross...

That is exactly what I was looking for, thank you!! I guess I should have said the barrel thickness behind the threads.

    New Sig CROSS

I know the thread pitch. Trying to match up the muzzle device the best I can so it doesnt look absurd.

I have yet to pick mine up so I can not do it, but does anyone know what the diameter of the barrel is at the crown? This is for the purchase of a brake.
