Re: Springfield XDS!! I love my XDS and carry it almost every day. I haven't bought a gun since I bought it 3 months ago. Does the wait time apply to CHL holders? It took me about 5 minutes to walk in and out with the gun when I bought it.

Re: What's on your list? I would like an early colt 1911, a colt 1873 single action army, a taurus judge, a bond arms Texas Ranger, a STI Eagle, a Glock 17C, and a Glock 22C. Forgot to put Ruger LC9 and a Ruger P95 for my wife to shoot.

Re: Would a "AW" ban prevent the sale of parts? I bought a couple extra 223 lowers and a LR-308 lower in case I can never buy another. I would like to build one of each in the future, just not enough money to attempt a whole gun right now. I hope it doesn't pass, but it doesn't look good.

Re: New STI Great looking gun. My next 1911 will be a STI for sure. They have some great quality guns. Btw, you won't be disappointing in the XDS. I have one for my carry pistol and love it. My boss shot it and bought one too.

What do you guys think about the composite ARs? How well are they holding up? Would one be a good option for competitive shooting with the right parts?

Re: XDS Loads I carry Hornaday Critical Defense ammo or Winchester PDX1. The ballistic reports of the PDX1 that I have seen showed it to be very reliable.

Re: Which "carry" handgun to choose I have a Kimber and love the Ultra Carry. I will someday pick up a Super Carry Pro, but until then I carry a Springfield XDS. They are pretty sweet single stack 45's.
