I'm putting together a 300 WM and considering the AM DBM. Has anyone used this system? Was there any modification to the action required in order to feed properly? Thanks
Does anyone have a 210 gr Accubond LR (30 cal) that they would be willing to send me? They seem to be unavailable everywhere and I am in the middle of a 300 win mag build. Thanks!
Early last week Hornady quoted me ". . . will ship within 2-3 weeks . . . " I bought a couple of pounds of H4895 this weekend given that QL recomends this powder over Varget but only by a smidge.
dino, Let us know how the comp. goes. It's my understanding the Berger is usually pretty honest with their B.C. so I'd like to see how the Classic holds up to its alleged .604. To me the VLD really isn't worth the extra length for that small increase in B.C.
Tac, I have been thinking of the same bullet because I like the idea of one bullet for hunting and LR target shooting and my personal preference for hunting is Berger. The Amax's, however, will be back out in about two weeks according to Hornady--they are in production as we speak. According...
The 375 grain is .938 and the 370 grain (no longer in production) is .926. The 350's are somewhere around .9, or just a hair below, but I don't recall exactly what. The 338 BC was calculated from drop when fired from the .408 wildcat cartridges so extremely high velocity. Or so this is what I...
Actually, I have friends in Birmingham and we live in Opelika so it's driving distance. But, it's pretty cool that you have your wife shooting with you. My wife is pro-gun in theory but not in practice.
Specs, sure then tell me how you got the picture to appear. This was my first attempt and the only thing that showed up was the link . . . .375 CheyTac Stiller .408 action 4-Port Muscle Brake Proof Research barrel, 1/10.5 twist LRA bipod Steiner 5-25x56 MSR Cerakote by Michael Ware at...
Kyle, Regarding the bipod I just returned, I wish I would have had you keep the funds for an in-store credit. This chassis is on my "to buy" list and my wife just got your check yesterday so I'll never see it . . . Nice looking hardware. I'll be in touch late this fall. Dan
I would be interested in future matches. Ans Scott, I am interested in your three day class but won't be able to do it this April. I'll be interested in future dates for sure.
It's nice to know that there are some gun owners in MD. When considering a job at APG, I quivered at the thought of living in a gun-free area rich in democrats and liberals. This post gives me hope for MD.
I'll be back for the May matches if Unlce Sam keeps me out of the sandbox. Now, the trick is to connect some dots here. I shot the one match last summer, met a bunch of people, and now I need to connect those names with the nick names of the Hide. DocB=Alan? jwp6114=Jake? Dan
Bill, Did you ever get your B.C./Drop worked out? It looks like my load is going to come in at 133 gr Retumbo (Jamison, Fed215, SMK tipped to 1.760" then pointed) at around 3115. Dan C. (Opelika)
