I did use the HS precision DBM, it did drop right in with no problems but only uses the HS Precision mags. Will not accept the AI mags.

Gemtech with there "jake brake" could be an option. I run one in 556.

I don't run my barrel as hot as it sounds like you do but my groups also open up some as the barrel gets hotter in my stock R5.

I was in need of one also, order mine from mile high as a special order. They don't carry them in stock but order one for me. Hope this helps

I have only shot the JP in 6.5 Grendel and 223 but the finish is awesome and with the silent capture spring and the Low mass bolt I have never shot a smoother AR.
