Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
I have always mounted my issued red dot as far forward as possible. This gives you the longest sight radius, and makes the system more accurate. Think 3-dot sights on a hand gun compared to a open sighted rifle.
If it were me, I would go with a red dot sight. Vortex Has a nice model out right now that you can pick between two different colors. I scored expert many times out to 300m in the Infantry with one. 100 yards is nothing.
You can't go wrong with a Savage. My first rifle was/is a 10fp-le2 in .308 Win. I took the rifle to a 600y match in Medford OR and shot middle of the pack. To this day the rifle will still hit what I'm aiming at if I do my part. Same for my 111 Long range hunter in .300 WM. I keep up with custom...
I am so jealous. I am stuck at work watching the live tracker, wishing I could participate. Unfortunely being on the probationary list doesn’t allow me time off. I am however looking for a partner to train up with for next year’s event. Can’t wait.
I have used the "Shooter" app out to 1275 without a problem. The other nice thing about the app is they have a web interface, so your not entering all your info on your phone.
Why is this still being brought up? If you don't agree, don't give them your money. I stopped caring about them after I found they wern't really interisted in helping wounded vets like myself. End of story.
