Hello @bmicek, yes, placing the dovetail in place of the ADM mount is possible. This configuration is a part of the design. See Nox User Manual page 13 (Configuring NOX for Left Eye Use).

Surefire 18650 may work, but we have not tested it. I don't anticipate any problems if they fit in the Nox's battery compartment. It may be tight because of the increased battery size due to USB charging. Let us know if you have had a chance to try it.

There must be a typo on their specs, or something was lost in translation. Doubling the objective focal length should lead to doubling (not tripling) the magnification. The math here is elementary.

Aligning reticles allows the use of digital zoom on clip-on. Zoom is performed in a way that does not change the position of the reticle (the center of the reticle stays put, and the rest of the pixels move around due to scaling). I hope this makes sense.

18650 batteries are not all the same. Variations in performance may be huge. The KeepPower 3500 (not 3600!) that the Nox is shipping with is the best we could find after evaluating a _lot _ of different 18650 batteries. There may be something better, but I have not seen or heard about it.

Unfortunately, not. The problem happens on the core and our firmware can't do anything about it.

I suggest not overdoing the testing because, at least in theory, this may cause more damage. It's not the best idea to yank the power cord out of the computer when it is starting up. You got it right, both Nox and Halo-LR are most sensitive to the power failure during the startup process...

In low temperatures, it may be beneficial to keep the scope running all the time. This way, the batteries warm up internally and don't lose too much charge because of the low temperatures.

The tested scope had problems with the LRF before the software update.
