    I talked to a guy about my 6.5-20 about a week ago. He said the ts-29x1 should be coming out mid march and once it passes qc they are ready to go. I was a little thrown off by the 29vs32 but with the higher magnifications they couldn't get the same hold over values.

    Thanks for the input guys I was worried I was going too close to the shoulder from the Forster directions but I think I will take your suggestions. I will practice on some more cheap brass before I move onto my lapua stuff.

    I made my first attempt at neck turning today using the attachment for my Forster trimmer. I ruined two cases before getting the hang of it. The brass measured between .016-.014 so I trimmed to .014. This was all crap Remington brass that I figured was good for practice.

    I have a rock chucker II, but that's what i've loaded straight ammo on as well. I will check the shell holder and pull apart the die to check for obstructions. I am going to borrow a friends redding seater to see what happens as well.

    I have been doing load development with the 185 Berger long range bt and I'm getting excessive run out. I'm using virgin lapua brass and a forester seater. I have loaded 155 scenars with the same setup and have a few stray bad ones. Not the case today, almost every round was between .004-.005"...

    A 1/12 should have no problem with 175 smk, I havent got to shoot the 185 yet but according to Brian litz bullet profile on them and bergers recommendation of 1/12 or faster I would say they will be fine

    I really like mine, action is great. My only gripe is that the factory bedding job is terrible, once I rebedded it shot alot better. I first worked up a load for 155 scenars but ive decided to switch to 185 bergers so im in load development mode again.
