I'm locked into the muzzle device. It is a 360 brake and requires no timing. I'd like to mount it with just a minimal amount of torque. I cannot use any washers. It has to index on the Sig Taper. Rockset or Loctite Red, which? How about maybe 10# torque and the glue?

Lots of issues with Sig MPX muzzle devices in the past with accuracy. I can say that I shot mine with the new muzzle device today and it groups 1" at 25 yds. I just put a little torque on it, no measurement, just a "bit" to stick it. Shot twenty rounds to see how it did. I was reading...

Shot it today with the new Muzzle device and it was around 1" for 5 shots at 25 yards. So next month the range where my Wolfman is being held hostage will be renovated and I'll shoot it then and we'll see.

When you cut and rethread a barrel, do you have to find someone who can recrown as well? Or is that part of the deal?

I would be sending just the barrel. I am using a forward Controls design 6315KM muzzle device

I need a barrel cut and threaded. It's an expensive barrel so I'd like to find a good shop that can do it. It would be great if they were in SouthEast Florida, but not mandatory. Any suggestions?

Some of the direct thread cans had "various stuff" between the can and the barrel. Wish me luck, I want to run my Wolfman on a KeyMicro system. I did get the MI 8" Handguard real cheap at DVOR this week.
