It's available in 300 WinMag & 338 Lapua, mine is 300 since that is the caliber that I'm used to and I have the dies and components for reloading. As far as figuring out what MOA it shoots, I haven't gotten that far yet. It's only made a few trips to the range. First trip was trying to get it...
I started out with a Eotech 512 and a 2nd gen trippler. It worked fine, I didn't. I couldn't get used to having my nose on the charging handle, growing up shooting lever actions and then graduating to scoped hunting rifles I got used to having my head up. I found a package buy on the EXPS2-2 and...
Subscribed. I'm thinking of upgrading the glass on my old hunting rig to the Light Tactical as well. I sat for the first time in 3 years last Saturday evening, I took the AR-30 w/ the Premier 5x25 and I could still see well enough at 7:50 to take a shot. The local shop that I bought my big...
You're a bit late to this party, it's been gone and replaced w/ Premier 5x25. AND the Zero Stop works. I stand by my statement about Bushnells CS though. It's long winded and not worth the trouble I had to go through to type it here but I will not be buying any more Bushy products in the future.
G33 eye relief is 2.2" per Eotech. G23 is 1.97". I've got both and like the 23 better even though it has less eye relief. I did the exact same thing with the stock as you until I finally forced myself to shoot with the stock in one position at all times, you get used to it.
What does the fired brass look like? Any signs of scarring on the case? My brothers Ruger Varmiter was doing what you describe with the bolt <told 'em not to buy a Ruger unless it was a BlackHawk or a #1> and it was leaving drag marks on the case. It was still shooting sub moa though. He took...
1:10 twist? What ammo are you shooting? I've got a Browning in 300WM that shot like that w/ 150 grain Remington Coreloks and Hornady Customs, got another box of 165 Hornady Customs and it turned in one ragged hole. I'd also check the action screws, with manufacturers cranking out every thing...
Bushnells customer service sucks donkey balls. All I got to say, this pos will be sold and I'll step up to a S&B like I should have done in the first place. I should have stuck with my buy once, cry once mentality that has served me well over the years.
Well I've tried it both ways now. As directed above with the center screw all the way in and as the manual describes on pg.9 note 3 "Turn the screw driver clockwise until a stop is felt, turn back 1/4 turn counter clockwise in order to move the stop off of its lowermost position". Then note 4...
To verify; you are referring to the slotted "phillips" in the center, correct? The directions reffered to using the 1.5 mm supplied wrench through the hole in the top of the cap. So far I haven't found any type of relief for the allen wrench or what it is supposed to do
I stopped by the shop today where I purchased the scope and the owner, whom I've done business with for years and trust, advised me to shim the base then do a mechanical zero and start again from there to get my 100 yard zero. It just seems odd to me that shims would be required for the scope...
I'm fighting with the same thing. Instructions call for using the supplied allen wrench through the hole in the top on to a detent switch and that you would feel it give. So far I've not found anything except the top brass plate w/ no detent. I'm using low Seekins rings on the stock 20 moa...
Congrats on the upcoming move. I looked at your profile and noticed that your into motorcycles, may I suggest you start saving your pennies to get a weekend retreat in the mountains. We have twisties here that make Mulholland Dr. look like I-20, you'll love it. The peaks on the Appalachians may...
Punisher, I'm across the RR tracks from you. If you'd like to get together and carpool to the range(s) to save on fuel cost, pm me. I've heard of a range out in Sandy Run that is 650 yards but still searching out details on how to join, currently just shooting @ Indian Creek.
Thanks for the vid, really helpful in helping me make up my mind. I'm just getting back into the game and everything has changed since I bought my B&L Elite 4200 years ago. Nightforce was around back then but I had never heard of Vortex or some of the other brands. I'd never heard of 34mm rings...
