    Help,Model 12LRP Loads

I am a fan of the 142's. If you go the barrel route, I would suggest Apache gun works. Jim ships a top notch barrel at a more than fair price. I would bet you a box of 142's he is $100+ cheaper than a CBI or Shilen and it will shoot .5" if you can.

Bafoonery and a stuck case. Help!!

Tapping the primer pocket and using nut and washer worked well for me. Worked well enough, I now keep a set on hand in the same tray w/ trashed brass from first time. They stay in plain sight (beside my lube pad) as a reminder.

    Favorite powder for 6.5 Grendel

I also have a 24" barrel and I have been told by many that Varget is to slow! If you look at Alexander's load data they do show Varget as an option on the heavies. I think the Berger vld's 130grn ran around 2400fps. I have heard rumor of people getting that bullet to 2700fps but I assure you it...

    6mmAR Problem.

I shoot a grendel and coal is all over the place depending on bullet design. I can load the vld designed out to 2.270 and get away with it. Sure, my mags will hold 2.295 but my bolt won't chamber. If I load 120 or 100 a max I have to drop back to 2.20-/+ .005, the 123 amax will chamber at...

243 Best load for cheap savage 110 deer rifle? bullet wt?

I liked 40grns +/- varget and 87grn vmax. Wouldn't hesitate to shoot a deer out to 300yds +/-, after that I would go heavier

eat this sporter contour and short barrel nay sayers !!!!

It was a sporter barrel and that was a nickle. I guess you could be proud of a buckle covering your group if it was shot with a slingshot. Lol

eat this sporter contour and short barrel nay sayers !!!!

I had a .243. M700 bedded in a h&s stock and barrel floated. It had a 22" spotter barrel and I could produce a five shot group you could cover with a buckle easy. Its good to have a light carry rifle if you hunt. I wouldn't want to lug my 26 " bull barrel around all day. Not my idea of fun...

Loading 168 gr VLD out to the lands??

I am new to this forum and reloading was my motivator for joining. I have a Rem 700 var and I load the 168's all the way out to 3.010. The rifle only has 150-175 rnds through it . Loading that far out they shoot .5's regularly.
