Thanks, I appreciate it. It was more of an issue at 400-800 yards, where you can't see your hits on paper. Then we'd go check the targets, everyone was adjusting in MOA and I had to do conversions. I'm sure i'll get use to it because i'm not buying a replacement scope haha.
I'm a new shooter and recently took a long range class with 8 other people. I was the only one using mils and I hated it. Maybe because I was the only one and everyone else was talking in MOA. MOA is easier to understand for me, especially at long distances. Or, maybe no one explained the...
That's a good idea on the shelf for the chargemaster. Thanks! There is some spray case lube in the 2nd pic. It's on a utility shelf next to the bench. Yes, I used screws on every connection, glue too. I appreciate all the feedback
I should also add that I'm not going to be a competition shooter. This is just a past time for me. I work on law enforcement and our range goes to 800 yards. Other than .308 I'll be reloading .223 and 9mm for now. Thanks
So I am just getting into shooting and reloading. I built a little table, wish it was bigger, and have acquired a enough to get me going. What else would you suggest? What I have: LEE Turret press (will upgrade in the future) on an inline mount RCBS Chargemaster RCBS beam scale (505)...
My FL sizer is scratching the shit out of the necks on my brass. It's not just a few lines, it's around the whole neck. Scratches might not be the best word. It roughs up the whole thing, neck up.
Thanks. I was wondering if it might be the screw adjustment. I agree, I need to learn more. I've been reading for quite a bit while accumulating my supplies. I'm not a competition shooter and probably never will be. I just want to make an accurate round that is repeatable. Thanks again.
My local store got 16lbs in on Friday. No 8's though. They have the one pound per person rule so I grabbed a co-worker and I got two pounds. They said I could bring as many friends as I wanted so I don't understand the limit. Then I had two other friends grab another pound for me a couple hours...
I am completely new at this... I just acquired a LEE turret press and some Dillon .308 dies (3 set). I followed the online instructions from Dillon for set up and went through a dry run to verify die positions. The bullet seating die placed the bullet about a 1/4" deaper than I expected...
I thought the cold handled it great. They did what they needed to do and that's it. If you're going to open carry to draw attention you're going to draw attention. Be prepared to be questioned. Now a pistol on the hip. Who cares? 99.9 percent of the police will not bother you. I have never...
Have you had any communication with the builder yet since this happened? At this point I don't think I'd let them examine it unless you have your 3rd party rep present. Good luck!
