Hello All, I have a new POF P308 with a 20" match barrel coming in the mail (I'm so excited!) and I wanted to get a bipod for her ASAP... I'm currently looking at Atlas or GG&G. Any POF users with the M-Rail out there have any bipod or mounting advice? Specifically, I wanted to know if I...
B&T Industries is releasing a new Atlas Bipod The PSR Atlas (I don't know what Kasey is officially calling it) will be released the 2nd Quarter of 2014. This new bipod is based on feedback B&T received from the current Army Trials involving the PSR Program. The Atlas is one of the finalist...
I have the resources to manufacture Leg Locks for the Harris Bipod. I need to know a few dimensions. I need to know the length of the pin end. I know its .125" dia, also length from the shoulder to the end of the pin. I know the threads are 1/4- 20 and has 12 threads = .60, plus another .40 of...
Hi all, I am planning on using an SPS Tactical AAC-SD in .308 as a basis for a long range rig that I plan to use both at the range and possibly for hunting. I am pretty set on a Harris, but I don't know which kind would work best with these applications taken into consideration. Any...
Hey, I've had alot of interest in straight tube bipod cuff layouts. Here's a photo of the potential on the M400 semi-auto 408 rifle (doesn't exist anymore). Am considering a smaller and lighter version made of other than steel materials. If anyone is interested, post your comments please or...
I've searched for a while and can't find much on subject. Those that have them, how do you like your Sako TRG bipod and why? Does it pivot for cant and if so does it lock? Do the legs lock in indexed positions or infinite adjustment? Currently using an Atlas on my AR10 that I'm happy with...
Fellas, Odds are good that i'm going to do a joint run of M200 CheyTac type bipods in the very near future. A deposit to secure one of these setups will be asked. The amount will be made available within the next week or so. They will fit the following rifles in a bolt-on configuration. 1...
I have a Ruger 77/22 all weather with the synthetic stock that I'd like to put a bipod on. It has no swivel stud and just not sure the best way to add one. Or if there is a better method of getting my extra bipod on there.
I have always liked the M60 style bipods for their rugedness and solid looks. I decied to adapt one for my 308. I took some 1/2" aluminum barstock and machined it to screw into the existing 5mm bidop atachment on my McMillan. It fits great and is solid as a rock! Bipod is from Barret.
i noticed i wasnt the only trg 42 owner who wanted to be able to adjust the resistance/tension in the cant of the sako bipod so it was not too loose when shooting prone [especially if the ground is not level with the target so you need to tilt the cant]. so i thought i'd post this info. a buddy...
Had a few moments to spair today, don't have the cash to get the bipod I would like SO......I put a temperary one together. Not bad considering I woke up at 4:00am thinking I could build one.
Does anyone have an opinion on what they consider to be the best bipod for a heavy (.375 Chey Tac class) rifle? Harris seems the most popular but if someone knows of another slick option I am all ears. Since we are talking about guns that weigh at or near 20# it would seem spending a bunch of...
I am constructing an AR15, and am looking for top accuracy at 100 and 200 yards. I would expect shooting off a bipod is less accurate than shooting off a heavy benchrest arrangement, but how much difference might there be (shooting off a bench)? Is it possible to shoot tiny groups (.25 MOA)...
Not sure what are of the site to post this in.... The rubber pads on my bipod that sits b/t the bipod and the forearm fell off due to cleaning solvents. What does Harris use to keep the pad on the metal? Is it some type of glue? What will get them to stick to the metal?
I have heard the proper way to shoot off a bipod is to load it. How do you do this? How do you utilize a sling when shooting off a bipod? (I have heard this helps)
I shot off a bipod for the 1st time today. (In the past I have shot off of bags) I noticed that when the rifle recoiled it would come back and jump over to the left at the same time, so in looking through the scope after the shot the scope would be pointed to the left of the target far enough...
