    Mark II BTVS length of pull...

    I really love my BTVS but the LOP is about two inches too short. I am thinking about getting a limbsaver recoil pad to extend the LOP and have a couple questions about that. First, does anyone make an extended butt plate for the Savage MKII BTVS? If not, what size of grind down does it take...

    I just picked up a Savage MkII BTVS package at Dick's sporting goods last night. I managed to get it out to the range today. I only put about 15 rounds of Wolf Match Target through it since we had a 17-22mph gusting wind. It was good enough to get it zeroed at 100 yards. It shows some promise...

    EGW base for my Savage MkII BTVS

    Well, I really like my Savage MkII a lot, but one thing I hate about it is the scope bases. They are low, 0-MOA, and not very solid. Even with blue locktite they've come loose on my twice now. Being 0-MOA I could only get 12.5MOA of elevation out of my Bushnell scope... barely getting me to 150...
