Folks, My old Midway case cleaner model 6029 bit the dust. It was a pretty big unit some I'm looking at the Dillon CV 2001. Has anybody used the Dillon? Should I look somewhere else? Thanks, Ed

http://www.lovemyguns.com/index.html I inherited a mosin nagant and a K98 and the barrels in them are atrocious. The rifling looks ok but there is just a whole lot of junk built up in the barrel that refuses to come out. This system seems promising from reading their PDF review...

Is it bad voodoo to use automotive carb cleaner to remove carbon fouling in rifle barrels? Seems to work well, just don't know of any ill effects. I have followed up with a copper solvent and a G-96 flush to finish. Any input?

I bought some the other day. It works pretty good. I was using Montana Extreme. I think this is a little better with the copper. Has anyone use it?
