    Rifle Scopes Mil Dots?

    Is it safe to say that a Scope equipped with target turrets is pretty useless with out the mil dot reticle? I was watching the Sniper Science program on the Military Channel and they way the explained the target acquisition is the shooter frames the target kill zone using the dots on the reticle...
