I’m now in the process of filling out the “Form 20” to allow transfer my SBR AR9/suppressor from Mi to Tn. As I understand, the form/approval is valid for 12 months and is only required for the rifle... any pitfalls to be avoided? My scanner is in the office... so I’ll have to mail it in - or would they accept a “photo””? Since it appears to take 45-60 days... would it be best to request the start date +45 days? This is for range practice only - is there a way to seek approval longer than 1 year at a time? Thanks for the guidance!

you should be able to fill it out online and email it to them. i did my first set just a couple of weeks ago, pretty much easy peasy. make sure your descriptions match your form 1 sbr forms you submitted. i think it took about two weeks to get them back in the mail approved.
