135g SMK .308

Anyone have a load for the 135g Sierra for a .308? I looked in the sticky section for a bit and did not see one. The rifle is a factory 1/12. I would especially like a load that uses IMR4064, RL15, Varget or one of the other "usual" powders.

Yes and no. I have a box of 500 but haven't tried them yet in a course match. From what I heard seirra made this bullet for the M1A match at Perry and Shawn McKenna has shot it and done quite well with it believe he won the match this past year. I'm going to use it for the 200/300 line. From what I've tried so far 43 and 45gr of Varget (same as my 175 loads) works well in my LC84 brass. Recoil is very mild and will be nice in sitting rapid.

Recoil matters more at the short line.
