Looking for something for a 20" 308 - sort of a handy rifle for 100-600 yard shooting. Right now im looking at:
    Leupold Mk5 HD 3.6-18
    Sig Tango6 3-18
    Stenier T5xi 3-15
EOTech Vudu 5-25 (if they ever release it - this is probably falling off the list)

Has anyone shot more than one of these and can compare?

I had the Leupold MK5 for a few days before changing my mind and sending it back. Did not mount but did looked at through the glass and it was a bit better than on Steiner. Still own the Steiner and I like the turrets better on it than on the MK5. If you look around sometimes you can find the T5 under $1,500. Can' tell you about the others.

Had a T5Xi 3-15 that had the illumination go bust on the first outing. Went to a leupy Mk5 3.6-18 and I’m liking it a lot. To my eyes, glass looks very close to my ATACR SFP 5-25 I had on my TL3 build. Very light and compact.

Maybe the easiest "what scope" thread I've seen in awhile. Vortex AMG 6-24, unless length is a serious concern or you need something less than 6x. But the AMG has alpha-class glass, a good reticle, great turrets, awesome illumination, lightweight, pretty compact, awesome warranty, etc.etc.etc. It was built for exactly what you want to do.

Bushnell HDMR2 is what I run on a similar set up. Could not be happier. If your not into the Horus system, the DMR2 is the same scope without Horus but it does have an illuminated R.
