178 A max alternatives

I was looking for .308 178 A max's last night and none to be found (local Cabela's).
Would the 180 <span style="text-decoration: line-through">interbonds</span> SST's be an acceptable alternative?

The b.c. of the 180 grn interbonds & SST's are a diff. of .015 (.495 for A max, .480 for the <span style="text-decoration: line-through">interbonds</span> SST's)

I didn't find anything or anybody running them in the search.

Anybody running them, and how do they fair in the 800-1000 yd range?

That's an awfully expensive swap IIRC. I think Interbonds are almost double the cost.

A very near approximation to the 178's for BC and behavior is the 175 SMK. The true BC's that Bryan Litz published are different by only about 0.003 on the G1

I agree, when I cant find 178 AMAX I go to 175 SMK.

OOps, I meant SST's. I picked up some last night, 28.99/box 100.

I must have seen the Interbonds next to them.
