Good Evening Folks,

I am trying to decide which new Hybrid to use for my 300 WM. I have used the 190 and 210 VLD Hunting's with some success - about 0.375 MOA at 600 yards with both, but have found significant lot to lot variation and finicky seating depth issues. My understsanding is the Hybrids are not as sensitive to seating depth. So I've narrowed my choice to either the 185 or 200 Target Hybrids. My question is if anyone has tested both since the early tests here and if so what results did you find?

thanks,
Jason

185 Juggernaut is awesome, we are getting great results in 308 for match and sub sonic performance, no oal issues. 300 WSM is rocking these as well, so far my favorite Berger projectile.

I have no knowledge of the target hybrids, so my comparison is not the best.

For hunting application check out the 215's there is quite the extensive discussion on the topic over on long range hunting and they are shooting it out of a 300 win mag with excellent results.

Thanks Trevor,

I run an 11 twist so it looks like the 215's tip the scale - Berger recommends a 10. I might try the 200's though since mine shoots the 210's and 190 VLD's good.

By the way - does anyone understand why Berger's website calls the Tactical 185 OTM Jugernaut (PN 30107) and not the 185 Target (PN 30418) a "Juggernaut"? Bruno's and others call both the bullets Juggernaut.

Confused.
