Hello All,

Looking to make my first step up from the $1000-$1300 scopes I am used to for a new PRS style rifle I am having built now.

I am wanting something with 30+X at the top end and be FFP in the $2000-$3000 range.

Rifle is a 6x47L with ambition to reach out past 1000yds on steel.

Currently thinking between:
1) Burris Extreme Pro 5.5-30
2) Zeiss LRP S3 6-36
3) NF NX8 4-32

euro optics have few demo NF atacr 35x ffp for 2800-3k

NF ATACR 7-35 regularly go for around $2800 in the px here

Add $350 to your budget and you can grab a used ZCO527 in the PX. You don’t need 30x to shoot beyond 1,000 yards, and higher quality lower mag beats lower quality higher mag IMO.
This is by far your best option. I got another zco recently and could have gotten an 840 but the 527 is plenty of mag and has more elevation. I'd see how good of a deal I could get on a used zco527 in the px for sure.

Edit- that said, the zeiss glass is great. Right there with the zco imo and I've seen em both side by side a few times. I still like the zco much better but

Gen 3 razor or Minox ZP5 are the best sub $3K optics and nothing is really close. Minox will have better glass but the razor will have better "features". Like said above, if you can add a few more sheckles, the ZCO is what you want.

is reticle design important to you? Moa or mrad? Illumination necessary?

OP

I may be a bit biased, but if you are open to preowned, here is a scope in the PX checking all your boxes and undoubtedly a tier(s) above those three you listed 😀
