Thinking of building a .204 Ruger AR upper.
This will be going on a LMT Lower with a LMT adjustable precision stock and a Geissele trigger and H1 buffer. I have a MRP CQB upper but have not been super impressed with the MRP barrels (18in SS and 16in CM) in the accuracy dept.
On my short list,
LMT defender (standard) flat top upper.
LMT BCG
White Oak Armament 22in or longer .204 Ruger barrel with the + length gas tube, also considering having it fluted.
Both LMT and White Oak are within an hours drive... "Buying Local"
I would like to use a seperate BCG from my exsisting MRP upper just for cleanliness sake.
Is there any benifit or downside to using a FA BCG, is the slight bit of extra mass going to make a difference with the .204?
Thanx.
