Looking for some recommendations for a scope for my .22 trainer.

Requirements:
-$600 or less (eligible for military discount if manufacturer offers one)
-MIL Reticle and MIL Turrets
-FFP
-Enough elevation for 250yds min of .22LR with a 20MOA rail
-Repeatable
-12x Magnification (Minimum Top End)
-Exposed Turrets
-Side Parralax (down to 25 yd min)

I just got a New Athlon Argos last week for my 22lr. I just got back from the range shooting it for the first time. I am very impressed. I have all Gen2 Razors and 1 Gen1 Razor on all my rifles and I am very impressed with the Argos. Got it new in the box in the PX for $325 shipped to my door.

Glass was very clear and zero issues zeroing or shooting one hole at 50yds. I did not test any further or dial elevation since a snow storm rolled in cutting my range session short.

You should be looking at SWFA SS 3-15x42FFP. I am sure it will be within your budget as soon as their tax day sale hits.

With Athlon, consider Ares BTR 2.5-15x50.

Generally, the $600 and under price range is not replete with FFP scopes that I would recommend buying. SWFA SS 3-9x42 is almost the only one I routinely recommend. However, there are sales out there and EE.

Not bad for a cheap scope, right!

I have 3 of them.
