I have 400 80 grain matchking bullets and put 23 grains of varget, how deep can i seat them without major pressure and get them to shoot out of a ar? what if i went to a depth of 2.260, unsafe?

you would be past the ogive seated that deep. I would go with 2.350 or longer depending on your throat. You can safely run up to 25 of the Varget with that length, although you should start at 23 and work up. You are not going to get them to run through a mag if thats what your after.
