I have a remington VS in 22-250. Can I have it re chambered into 223 or 223 AI?

depends on the contour. I am sure that you would lose a good two or three inches off the shank. Might look funny...

If it is the Surgeon 223AI you got from Adam B, then yes you do!!

OOH, I am betting that you can't really do it...

If it were me I would sell the complete rifle 22-250 and just buy an action and start that way.
