Milestone post...

Just realized I hit 2500 posts and still learning... I guess it's a good thing I'm aware of that and don't think I have it all figured out. That said, thanks to everyone here as the amount of information that is shared is amazing to say the least. Shooting is a science and much more than picking up a gun/ammo and yankin' ye ol' trigger. My financial adviser also passes along a big middle finger to ya'll. Myself.. I pass along a giant "thank you" for the years of knowledge and camaraderie. Cheers!

If you ever stop learning that is how you hurt yourself or someone else.

I have a know-it-all uncle and while hunting deer we were standing around discussing what was going to happen next he slung his rifle and it went off. The blast took his hat off and made all of our ears ring. He immediately asked “who hit me!” All I could do was laugh. My cousin said I wondered why you took your safety off to sling your rifle. At that point everyone started talking so I motioned for her to come over to me. I told her that she needs to speak up when she sees something like that.

Long story short checking and rechecking and thinking about what you are doing really helps to prevent you from looking like a fool or hurting yourself or someone else.

Congrats on the 2500 posts.
