257 weatherby mag

anybody played with 90gr blitzkings and 7828-ssc? if so what was your jumping point for a load. I apologize but I am still young in the reloading game so any help is appreciated.

Hodgdon's website shows a MAXIMUM of 74.5 grs of IMR7828 for a 85 grain bullet & a MAXIMUM of 73 grs of IMR 7828 for a 100 grain bullet.

Great cartridge, you will enjoy.
Do a search in the reloading section of the 24 hour campfire forums, lots of 257 WBY fans there and lots of load data.

The blitzking maybe a bit explosive the weatherby velocities for deer.

IMHO the 100gr TSX or TTSX and the 257 WBY were made to go together for anything from antelope to elk.
Reloader 25 works well in the 257 WBY as well.
