I ownder about this stuff. Why did all the relatives of those killed in 9/11 get fat checks. First responders I can understand, those whose health was ruined by clean up I understand, but victims families???

if I am not mistaken ? . reading it as started as a ( go fund me donations ) and then moved all the donated funds to 501c3 non profit organization for payments made .
People getting paid money . In the End - Wont State & Fed. be making money off the victims relatives ?. ( 31- Million -$ ) that is divided-up to 532 people, . Will it not be 'Taxed' as Earned Income by there State of residence and also Fed. IRS . ?
