30-06 favorite loads.

Hey everyone. New to reloading and was wondering what everyones using for their 3006 loads.
Im leaning towards 175-185 grain bullets and wanting to hunt and periodically go to 600 to 1000m matches. (For fun not super serious)

Im finding limited information for the heavier weights. Also wondering is 2700-2800 fps reasonable for those weights?

The 30-06 has been around a long time, so you should find data without much effort.

A decent beginner bullet is a Sierra SMK 168, SMK 169, SMK 175 for target use and to get experience. The newer Tipped bullet versions are fine as well.

A decent hunting bullet would be the Sierra 165 Game King (2145)
I would explore roughly 57 to 57.5 grains H4350 and go from there, you won't have much trouble with a tangent ogive in a typical 30-06 in terms of seating depth sensitivity.
