I have a buddy that just went through one in about 900 rounds. He does load fairly stout loads.

Different barrels will give you different results. You could probably get around 1000 rounds of at least 3/4moa, 800 rounds of 1/2moa, and 600rounds of 1/4moa. Get ready to chase the rifling.

I got just over 1500 out of my last barrel before it wouldn't do better than MOA and that was a rechamber so not enough shank to setback. You can expect to go in the 1K range typically with a hotter load, then set the barrel back and get another 1000 for a few dollars more. Only thing I will do different next time will be to go to 338 Edge
