I am more healthy than most of the 20 year olds that were in pharmacy school with me.

anyone know any more about this? </div></div>Right now the army's min age is 35+ any active federal time you might already have... it was 42, but changed last month. PM me if you want any other details...

You need to contact an AMEDD recruiter. My suggestion is to call the local recruiting BN In Montgomery if AMEDD isn't replying to you. They can provide you with a direct number vs dealing with some 1-800-leave your info and wait 6 months automated bullshit.

Regular recruiting can't help ya as a pharmacist as far as becoming an Army drug dealer. Ya need to go through AMEDD.

If he's a pharmacist then he has a master's degree.

I didn't think the Army prescribed anything but 5000mg Motrin tablets the size of a peach pit. That's all I ever got in the six years I was in. Surprised they would need pharmacists.

Good luck in your quest, hope you get what you're after.

Re: 32 too old for service??

Had a 32 yr old (I was 19)in our Plt in bootcamp (MCRD SD) That guy beat our ass in just about every physical event out there....I dont see why it would be an issue now....

Re: 32 too old for service??

No. 32 should not be too old for an appointment into AMEDD. I branch transferred from Infantry to AMEDD after 13 years and can tell you we are quite short on qualified providers. (Docs, PAs, Dentists, Pharmacists, Nurses, etc.) I second CS1983 advice about contacting AMEDD directly. I do not know the current regs on active duty AMEDD personell as I am now in the National Guard. I know that the Guard is still allowing Specialty providers a waiver up to age 40, but an active AMEDD recruiter shoud be able to square you away with the correct answer. I hope you find the answers you are looking for.
