Here's my 338 that was my present for getting some scholarship money and good ACT scores. It went a bit over budget, but I'm fine with kicking in to get everything I wanted. Now I need a nice S&B or Premier. Any donors?

Action-8500 Lawton, fluted bolt, dual ports
Barrel-32" Broughton, with some deep flutes
Stock-Mcree Precision
Trigger-Jewel 1.5oz-??lb
Brake-SSG Xtreme
Topped with a Sightron SIII on a 40 MOA base.

100 grains Retumbo, under a 300 grain SMK, for 2900 fps. I went to 103 grains with no pressure, so I'd say 3000 fps is no problem.

300 grains SMK at 3000 fps? Wow, how soon do you plan to re-barrel that stick?

Nice have you tried it out yet?If you have what are you getting velocity wise copared to standard 338 LM
