well I just got my new DTA rifle an 35mm 30MOA mount and was wondering if the 30MOA mount will be to much to be able to pull a 100yd zero with a 3.2-17 USO ??

I plan to use about 50% subs in this rifle, will this affect the abiltiy to get a 100yd zero ?

sorry for the newbie questions but these rifles are new realm i'm getting into

It depends on how much elevation your scope has AND, how much elevation you need to shoot as far as you want.

Usually, you need at least 30moa of up elevation to shoot out to 1000 yards (might need more). So, on a flat base, if your scope has 60moa of elevation, you will have 30moa of up because 1/2 of it is up and 1/2 of it is down. If you put a 30moa base on, you will have 60moa of up and zero moa of down.

So, if your scope has at least 60, or maybe at least 65moa of total elevation, you should be close to ok.
