My favorite 375HH load is with IMR4064. I don't believe you can get enough 4350 in the case to work well with a 270 grain bullet. I think a load with 4895 would work, I just have not used that in 375 although it is my favorite in heavy 223 and 308.
The following is an awesome load for 375HH:
260 grain Nosler Accubond; 71.0 grains IMR4064; Win LRMagnum primer; average 2693 f/s out of 24" bbl
Sight in 3" high at 100 yards it is 4" high at 150, dead-on at 220 and 4" low at 300. About the same as a 30/06 with a 165 grain bullet. (This was Jack O'Connors favorite load, too) G
Just a note: I have all bunch of manuals an am familiar with a popular links. Was just wondering if anyone had hints or loads they liked for a possible combo to work up to. . It'll be loaded in a CZ the components listed are what I have a decent amount of so thats what I listed for use. Thanks..
Barnes manual #3 list H4895 67.0/min to 72.0/max. 2601/2791 fps. It recommends Varget 68.0 up to 73.0, 2527/2709. I have used 69.0 of Varget. 270 XLC FB Barnes bullet. CCI250 primer, Winchester brass. I like IMR 4064 which is also a recommended powder. But do not see much difference between Varget and 4064. Your mileage may vary.
Many years ago when I first loaded for 375 H&H, someone told me that Reloader 15 is THE powder for 375H&H (that "someone" was an experienced hunter/booking agent on Accurate Reloading forums). Subsequent testing proved, to me, that this is a true statement. You can load 220s to 300s with this powder and it works great. Of those you have listed, Varget probably has the closest burn rate, so that's what I would try....
