I'm ready to order the barrel and BCG for my AR308. There's limited options for an off the shelf 12.5" .308 barrel and I'm not looking to spend the sort of money it'd take to have one made for this particular project. I've narrowed my choices down to KAK (416 stainless) or Ballistic Advantage (4150 chrome moly). From what I understand the 4150 is at an advantage on full autos which doesn't apply to me. I can't afford to be doing alot of mag dumps with .308 so other than the 4.5oz lighter weight, does the 4150 offer any advantage over 416? Is the stainless likely to have a significant accuracy advantage?
