4831 load data for 243 Winchester 105 hybrids

Have a good bit of this powder (H4831) that I used to shoot 105 amaxs with but need to switch since they are on the suspended list until further notice. Picked up some Berger 105 hybrids and am looking for some load data with this powder. I will be working up again but was wanting to know others experience with this combo. Also if anyone knew what Berger recommends as a start and max I would appreciate it. Just went to 2 local gun stores but no on had the Berger manual.

First of all, you should identify which 4831 you are talking about (IMR or H).
The Berger manual has quite a difference in data for those two on the 105 Hybrid.

H4831SC is used (of course data is interchangeable w/ H4831) and begins at 39.5 with max of 43.7 (98% fill and 2893 FPS w/ 24"). Their COAL is 2.710".
The 105 Hybrid is a great bullet by the way. I use them in 6 CM and, at 3160 FPS, they are amazing.

You should pick up a copy of the Berger Manual. It is the best read I have seen in reloading manuals. The history of the company and explanations of G! v. G7 are great and there is a lot of tips on getting the most from your Bergers.

awesome thank you! i am excited to try these out. do you shoot them a lot? There seem to be stress cracks a little in front of the ogive. from what i read its nothing to worry about but was wondering if you typically see these or if it is more of a lot by lot thing?

Have not noticed it on any of mine and I have three different lots. But then I haven't examined them under a microscope either.
