6.5 Creed Overall Length

Not sure if this is the correct sub forum to ask this or not.
My question is I placed a bullet into my gun lightly seated in a loose (not sloppy just loose enogh to press in with some good pressure) and slowly closed the bolt i get an overall length of 2.885" once i come about .001 off. So i seat 2 bullets ready to fire in the cases but they are about a few about a hundredth or so to large for my magazine. I single fed them and they performed ok but im wondering if i should just seat a little deeper to feed from magazine or if there is a magazine i could get to replace the magpuls that i have. Its for a gen 2 RPR. Any help and advice ot help this newb out will be greatly appreciated.

Seat a little deeper. It’s not worth the ass ache of single feeding.

Makes zero sense. What bullet? My buddies RPR is in the 2.81 area to the lands with 140 ELDM

Bullet is hornady 147 ELDM. Im very new to reloading so i may have done the process incorrectly to get the length but after doing the research before and after posting i found this video on youtube and he shows the same issue Im having. Also my first post has a typo it was supposed to say 2.858" not 2.885.

Size it to fit in the mag and see what happens

What he said ?Seat it to fit mag and see how it shoots. It may not Mind having a jump to the lands. I’ve got several rifles I have to load for that way and still get acceptable accuracy

I had to put a 210 berger in the case pretty deep to fit the mags, for a .300 win mag. Still shot well.

Just use accurate mags
