What a day, nothing like shooting in the inclimate weather... Took out the rifle to shoot my first 6.8 reloads... not bad i guess. 16" LWRC M6A2... Was shooting pretty good for the weather ( 40deg, wind, rain ).

Everything was going fairly well then my groups started opening up some, i was like wtf... started checking my rifle and noticed the bipod was woobly... couple wingles and the **** fell apart...

Bad day huh?...Did you have that feeling that you were supposed to be doing something else that day?haha

That's how I feel when stuff like that happens.

Oh well, try again later when the weathers better. At least you have got the best scope made!

Like it alot, more punch than 5.56 w/o having to goto an AR10 platform...

Im still working on reloading for it, hopefully when we get better weather I can get some more data on it.

Like to see how it does out to 600

Your'e harris wasn't even welded that bad, the one I had was hardly welded. I just sent them pictures and got a new one. Of course they asked if it wasn't a copy... I sent them pictures of what the weld looks like on one of the copies. Pity harris doesn't weld like that.
I also sent the bits to a aluminium welder who said that this auminium just wouldn't weld properly. (Maybe wrong material choice??)

I had a Bushmaster 6.8spc upper with a custom barrel. It was a great shooter. The 110gr V-max bullets are deadly on deer sized animals. At the 2600fps initial velocities, they act more like a big game bullet, doing a ton of damage yet still exiting with a half inch hole.

On the bi-pod issue, learn to shoot without one, off your pack or any padded surface (like a gloved hand), you'll be glad you did someday.

I’ve enjoyed this caliber for years. ARP barrels and super bolts have been great. His 3 groove 18” barrel is a one hole animal.

I like the 120SST for hogs, 100gr Accubond or 95gr TTSX for medium table fare.

S&B brass and AA2200 in any of the above is magic.
