600-800yds ranges within an hour of Orlando EDIT** 3 GUN type matches welcome too!!

I might end up in Orlando for a few days in early April, any suggestions where i might be able to purchase a day pass for some long'ish shooting around Orlando. Say 600 and up?

Manatee gun clup seems to be the best bet on the area but its a 2hr drive one way and im trying to stay within a 2hr round trip of the hotel.

About 1 hour 15 minutes from Orlando is the Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol Club. They have a 600-yard range. I don't know if they open it to non-members for a "day pass," but it might be worth looking into.

Malabar is a nice range. All kinds of shooting going on there. I believe though it is a members only unless there is a match going on

Im digging around and most of the longer ranges in the vicinity either require a membership or are not long.

In case i cant find any long range in the Orlando area, any of the FL guys around could be kind enough to call out club/local 3 gun or USPSA - IPSC style matches that first weekend of April?

I know im shooting something i just dont know what

Yeah, i wish id be able to make it but its a 4hr round trip from the hotel and im trying to limit the trip to 2hrs round max.

When in April? April 13th, VCGHC will run a long range practice, which includes shooting out to 1000. This is open to the public. PM me if you’re interested.
