I'm thinking of having my gunsmith barrel me up a 7mm TCU "7mm/223" on a remington short action. I have a contender with a tcu barrel and love it. I was wondering what you guys thought of the caliber in a rifle platform and of course it will be suppressed on a 16" barrel.

I've got something similar going on a Grendel case for the 180 and the 195's Berg,s, that I cal the 7mm Spendel.
PacNr makes a 5 groove, 7 twist that I think (hope) will stabilize either.
Do it! let us know how it turns out. Nice thing about a case that long being the spent casing wont fall of the bolt in mid eject.
