8mm Mauser

My brother in law inherited an 8mm Mauser that his grandfather brought home from WWII. It's in great condition and he wants to use it for his deer rifle this year and keep it in good shooting condition. He asked me to find some match grade ammo for it, but can only find surplus ammo or 198gr PRVI Partizan FMJ. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to find it or what to use? I know nothing about PRVI. Thanks for your help.

Hornady made a run of excellent 8mm Mauser ammo. If you want to spend a lot of money, but have excellent quality ammo (and the finest brass available for reloads) the RWS and Norma ammo is exceptional.
