sorry the first part you cant hear anything but what i am saying is that the hornady xtp left a perfect imprint you can even see the ridges from the tip of the slug

i normally run 3.5 grains of hodgdon hp 38 powder but i made 3 rounds of 2.6 just to see if they would cycle the case out and checked to make sure that the bullet left the barrel after each shot. the wife liked shooting the 3.0 loads just fine and they diddnt bounce back.

I have seen too many bowling pins win! I will not shoot them unless it's high power at long range!

I bet you had a extra load of clothing to wash!

I shot pin matches back in the 1980s.

Never had that happen, but I was shooting a .44 mag desert eagle

not shooting pins unless it is high power at long range i think that is a good policy to have. with normal loads i have never had a problem so it never crossed my mind but i wont be shooting them again anytime soon.

I get bounce back occasionally at my range from the closer berms, i.e., 15 yards or so. There are so many spent projos in the dirt berm that I wondr why it doesn't happen more frequently! Never had one come back so hot it would penetrate but it only has to happen once right?

I shot in a two gun match today where we used pistols and shotguns. The #8 shot was bouncing back off the steel regularly: only an idiot would not realize the need for safety glasses!

at this rate its gonna be around christmas before i get that 460 but i am looking forward to destroying a few pins as opposed to having them shoot back that is if i could get my neutered nieghbor to go shooting
