A Jew a Zionist walk into a bar.

Earlier you separated the concepts of salvation and judgement. How exactly do you get one without the other in your religion?

If you can get salvation before you're judged what does judgement determine exactly?

That's exactly right. I like how you think, sir.

You have to cherry-pick the Gospels to arrive where many arrive, which is why the guys down at the strip-mall skip over a lot of scripture and narrowly focus on John 3:14 and "faith alone." Talk about faith.

Cue up the circular logic arguments about 'if you really believed, you wouldn't have been tugging it to Jingoist's profile so your faith won't save you."

Speaking of which, fok, I am saved (I believe you proclaim this in front of many congregations and make it so), so I am going to head over to the 'Maggie' tread and look at some tits. I'm good.

Galatians

Ah, not crazy but you got me. And looking it up no surprise it was the same dude. Can't say I've browsed Galatians often may have to look at it again. Paul, in general, expresses himself a bit more sternly than most of the others. Owing perhaps to his past.

Also, did not know the MLK bit. I always assumed it was interpretation. May have to follow that rabbit now too.

King said a lot of stuff. He's another source people love to cherry pick.

...just wait until they get to the “You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone" and "Faith without works is dead" passages. Boom.

Yes, sir, it's sprinkled in Romans and Galatians, notably—"Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law." Faith alone, though it was the Catholic Martin Luther that added the word "alone" to the argument, but the text is clear that Paul argued we can just believe and get one of the coveted 144,000 seats on the bus.
Is this actually your belief about salvation or are you making some vague joke?

Seems like the Jews in Jesus day twisted his words and were set on overthrowing the Roman government and setting up their own kingdom. To which Jesus wanted no part.
AND...He still wants no part in overthrowing worldly kingdoms.
And the people still cry "hosanna", to be delivered from hard times under the yoke of wicked rulers. It is not a sickness of the rulers, it os a sickness of the people.

“Double predestination" has entered the chat. Calvin is yet another 'faith alone' flat-earther...few—conveniently—ever read the real, early Church doctors...or maybe just the "elect" have, given the "reprobate" are already damned and, therefore, would merely be wasting their time.

Duh.

But "rewards" are not specified so you can't prove it's not 72 virgins or a deluxe apartment in the sky or drinking and fighting.

So what does "atone" actually mean in your religion and how does it affect, if at all, salvation of your soul?

Earlier you separated the concepts of salvation and judgement. How exactly do you get one without the other in your religion?

Take a look at Sameul 12:13-15

What is the underlying message.

If you won't give me $20, I will set you on a path to find the answers.

How any of what works?

How would you know what it is, how it works, if you don't get the answers.

BTw, you never explained the 6 point star to me... I am anxiously waiting.

Payment for the answers, it doesn't work that way.

Jesus' message is free and it is the duty of Christians to spread it. A Christian would know.

It was never mine to explain.

That’s all you got from that? 🤣🤣 you’re here for nothing but a pissing match bubba, so figures you’d dial into the first thing you didn’t like.

We’ll save that theological debate for another time… 😉

I know you just correctly said it doesn't work this way, but I'll tell you what, sir. For $19.fiddy (to undercut the Gringo), I'll summarize all 1.5 million words of the "Summary of all Theology" (for those not conversant in Latin) and tell you why all these other clowns are wrong. :)

Ea-sy, guys. I come in peace. ✝️

Speaking of 'Theological debates....'

I have my own summary I'm working on which I am almost certain is wrong but I'm not finished yet so I don't want you to spoil it for me.

I know. I am enjoying everyone pinging you to "save" you, though. You deserve an Emmy, sir.

I forgot the obligatory mug shot. Except for the rolls of quarters on a belt and the drab green fashion sense it's surprisingly accurate.

And to be fair to the other players I don't think I've said what I believe yet because I don't believe yet. I've been on a quest for answers for years.

The word is there for everyone to interpret and some fakers are easier to spot than others. Even if they themselves don't know they're faking it.

the most disturbing thing I've seen in this thread is Gringo wearing a borat mankini, trying to set up a pegging through private messages.

otherwise, yeah we all know that mystical judiasm abandoned the one true God, rejects the scriptures in exchange for stories and traditions, sympathizes with lucifer, and will one day realize their mistake and return to God as a group.

Don't cast traditions aside, sir...actually quite important, theologically speaking.

Speaking of Paul:

“So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter”
—2 Thessalonians 2:15

not traditions which conflict with scripture

Jesus replied, “You hypocrites, Isaiah described you beautifully when he wrote—‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. And in vain they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men’. You are so busy holding on to the traditions of men that you let go the commandment of God!” - Mark 7

Hopefully one day it finds you.

Until then, don't be so transparent.

Transparent is a good thing, I know where I stand and haven't hidden anything.

Can't say nearly as much for some who pretend to have answers and hide behind insults in the most common "Christian" way possible.

you guys would appreciate this.

According to some things I have read over the last 10 years, Soros has been involved with archaeological digs all over the middle east and Turkey, searching down leads on the real tomb of Nimrod. Apparently he believes, and has spent a fortune in the process, that DNA extracted from Nimrod might be the key to extreme long life and superhuman strength.

You really seem to have thing for Paul. I can't say it's unwarranted.

Sure, but he's talking about the Pharisees who strayed and no longer following His Commandments, not "us"/His Church

...ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do; For the Pharisees, and all the 🧃 , except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of [their] elders.

agreed

just as the RC church strayed with ideas like Indulgences and climbing steps and saying Hail Mary in exchange for willfully committing sins without remorse or repentance

this is why he goes on and on about topics like circumcision
Indeed.

And, regrettably, having seen and not believed what I had seen, I can now sadly report that Gringo is in trouble, unless he breaks out the Feather blades and gets right with God....

This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

He is getting real old. That seems to drive real rich guys to look hard for a way around death.

Including Isaiah 53, there are probably hundreds of references to Jesus.
Types and shadows of Jesus are literally all through the Old Testament. Pretty amazing!

Well, some people believe the references you're talking about are to someone who hasn't shown up yet.

Some people believe Jesus was the messiah so they look at old texts and say "look there he is!".

I know there's a fancy word for this type of thinking.

I don’t know about the YouTube guy, but Charlie Kirk makes some good points.
If you only want to hear a short part, skip to about the 10:00 minute mark.

It's interesting, can't stand the interrupting douchebag in the corner PIP
