Re: A Little After-Death humor
At my great uncles wake people were walking up to the casket and viewing the body and all that goes on at a wake. My favorite drunken uncle was standing behind the casket holding a conversation. My little cousin mary, probably 6 or 8 years old at the time sheepishly walks up to the casket, my uncle sees the concern on her face. He leans down like he dropped something where she couldn't see him, reaches under the table and grabs mary by the leg, he moaned "come with me, mary". She let out the most shrill scream I've ever heard. Uncle was a little embarrassed since he wasn't expecting such a reaction, but everyone got a good laugh out of it and it lightened the mood.
