    Re: a MUST for hunters!!!

Looks like a nice piece of kit. I've seen something similar but nothing as nice as that. Are you making it? I'd be interested to see more details.

    Re: a MUST for hunters!!!

It looks cool but also kinda like one of those contraptions you would carry a baby in. I don need something to keep my bino's clean though.

long story short... they are Alaska Guide Creations, i've been hunting all my life, and always looked for something to keep my bino's safe/secure/clean and still have quick access, i talked with Jaret Owens, owner of AGC and Pioneer of the bino pack, he is a great guy, and makes his packs in the USA, i can keep mouth calls, lens cleaner, land maps, gps, ballistic sheet, xtra rounds, 1st aid equip, in the pack's individual compartments all while holding one of my most important pieces of equip, my bino's... he offered every other camo pattern and I thought multicam might get some looks, he told me if i can get a few guys interested he would make a special run... thus, the group buy.

if you have a 1K pair of binoc's or swarov's, leica's, vectors, etc... you do consider them your baby.

i wish it did, but the vector unit's just a bit too big for the smaller bino pack.

    Re: a MUST for hunters!!!

what's the dimensions on the small one? Also, did i miss it, how much are they?

I know this doesn't help the group buy, but does he offer 'em in white?

    thanks

EDIT: Just found it in the group buy section, sending you a pm.

i think he told me we could get them for about 60.00 + shipping, and he was doing white, but not sure he made a run of em or not, i fit the 10X50 & 8X50 swarovski's in em easy... along with my nikon premier 8X42's

cbass has the bushnell fusion, and i believe they fit just fine, i will double check next time he stops over to stick a goat.

Go ahead and crack open my drag bag...they are in the big pouch toward the rear. I'm with Nate, I'd be in for a white pack and WISH the multicam ones had the back mesh, straps and buckles in Coyote tan or something other than black. Might just have to get one and modify/improve it.

    Re: a MUST for hunters!!!

Might be viable in fair weather but no joy for the other 364 days of the year. I'd not want that much more crap to store after boning an animal out either.

    Re: a MUST for hunters!!!

I beg to differ my friend. I just got thru scouting a new farm for 6 hrs. on a 100 degree day. I cannot imagine carrying my Swaro 10X50's on a neck strap for that length of time. Not to mention range finder, maps, ink pen, wind checker and compass were all right there, as usual. I tried a Crooked Horn Outfitters strap before I got one of these, several years ago. There is no comparison on ease of use, durability, features, etc..If you haven't tried one, you may consider it before passing premature judgement.

dude... u got 31 post's and ur tellin a guy this??? seriously, i own/operate over 20K acres, thats one hell of a old mcdonalds farm, we have horses, cows and chickens BTW, we even got corn... i put over 200 miles a week on my polaris ranger managing a ranch taking out hunters, and scouting... more than one of these packs has served its purpose while in my possession, keeping my swarovski's dust free and dry while riding, in the winter its on my chest during every set i make, putting in 5 miles on foot @ a time calling cats and coyotes, there has been many a time this pack has kept my eye cups clean of snow allowing me to glass and pickup the movement of a cat... it may not be for u, who knows maybe you cant carry the xtra weight, but for those of us who can... its nothing short of a necessity.

I trecked an entire day through the homochitto national forest in mississippi, rain on and off, i used this particular rig and it worked very well. the guy is an alaskan guide after all, it's a good unit, protects the binocular and keeps the weight off your neck

    Re: a MUST for hunters!!!

Everyone's idea of good is different and if a Bino Bra is your pinnacle, that says more than a little. Enjoyed the story about it raining for a whole day, that was powerful stuff.

    Re: a MUST for hunters!!!

A moisture compartment is never best,or is a detritus collection container nor a condensation cubicle.

Though in fairness,I've no doubt most anything would more than suit your needs.

    Re: a MUST for hunters!!!

7 days 104 posts. Seems you would be the guy that would know every thing outdoors. Thanks for letting me know anything would fit my needs. Next all i need is mr. humble telling me exactly how to hunt my day would be complete. Really you have added nothing as to this other than smartass comments and hey if that is what you need to keep you self esteem high go for it.

    Re: a MUST for hunters!!!

Your stupidity does not fuel my esteem, despite their obvious connections. As an aside, what bino's are you trying to schlep?

Feel free to use your Imagination as you deem requisite.

i'll ask you nicely, cause i'm a decent dude... i don't shit on ur thread, so why do you continue to do it to mine??? have you owned this product and found its worthless enough to deem null and void??? if so, i would like to hear your reasoning, i see a sponsor posting on this thread that its a great product, he has some credential here, what do you have besides 140 posts in a week.

Probably got a little more than 49.99 worth, huh?
And as far as your couple few hundred worth, pick a gravel road that points South to Dakota and we'll see who can piss further too. I bet my dad can beat up your dad.

    Bless your moustache, sweetheart.

    Re: a MUST for hunters!!!

Larry "Voracious" is one hell of a hunter. He is not new to the hide at all. Has been banned multiple times. Don't argue with the guy. His way is his way and it is very hard to change his direction. He really has tried a lot of shit to know what works very well for him. He has posted hundereds of pics to prove it. But he will enjoy pushing you around and is very good at it.

I do have a question for ya Larry. What do you carry your binos in? I can see the pack come in very handy on a motorcyle or ATV. Keeps them from bouncing around and out of the way. Plus don't need any more than that for a short hunt of 5-10 miles of walking or riding. So, why are you beating the pack up so much. Or just playing with the newer guys?

    Re: a MUST for hunters!!!

    Skinney,

Sorry your post got high-jacked by a "reet fookin coont." You could rename your post: a must for hunters....except you??

Cool option for protecting the good glass.

    Cheers,
