I just picked the these up. I've been looking for a few new attachments. I wanted the ability to go low angle, its my main interest in this model. The legs lock at 10°, 25°, 50° and 80°. It has a second shorter tube that attaches to the ball head for proper clearance and lower viewing. I haven't spent that much time with it yet but it seems promising. The legs are not in the same league as the Manfrotto I own but I'm hoping they'll work out. The fluid ball head is nice considering the price point. It's sturdy and operates quite smooth. The knobs for swivel and tilt lock tight and hold well.

The Vanguard window/rail mount is actually quite solid. Take notice of the POS Bushnell version next to it. It's quite sad. They were both inexpensive but the other is near worthless. Combined the two came in around ~$65 I believe. The Vanguard is a stand fluid pan head, weighing about 1# 6oz. The clamping area is nearly an inch wide so it's fairly versatile as well.

Theres a straight mount that Vanguard also makes that I've been interested in. It's similar to the Nikon in the pictures and allows for 2 optics. It doesn't offer quite as much movement but appears very solid. It basically a straight bar that attaches to the center of the tripod and has two sliding bases that travel side to side.

I'll update this when I get some more time with them
