Good trigger-puller. That was a foggy match.
Thank you, certainly was a fun challenge but I hope things are clearer next time.
Found the issue. The only way to make the hinge fully lock is by forcing the buttstock upwards to make the hinge flush.
Anyone here mate an AT-X and impact 737 together? Looking to see what double stack mags I can run, If the AX/AT-X 6677 mags fit ?
If my rifle won't stay cocked can someone tell me which trigger screw to adjust? I'm in the middle of a match with a broken rifle so any information would be appreciated.

I couldn't get my fuzion(very close to an AW cut impact) to run 100% reliable with aw mags. It's flawless with ARC aics mags. They're discontinued unfortunately. Someone needs produce a longer mag latch for the aics atx chassis for the guys not running 3lug actions to run aw mags. I'm sure accurate or mdt mags will work too, I just don't use them
I mean it’s an AW cut action and I removed the mag stop to run AW. So I feel like it should but that’s a pricey mag to “try” if it doesn’t work . On top of that AI has different marked AW mags, ex: AT/AW and A /ATX so even to try it don’t know which one
Tried them all, I have at, aw, the push feed needs more case head presentation. My Cous De grace runs em perfectly. Magazine height needs pushed up in the atx chassis. Brazing a bit of metal below the mag latch and file fit would work no doubt. Prob why ai named it the atx aics chassis. Try opening feed lips a bit to have case head more presentable, may work for you! Didn't for me.
$4250 is like, the cheapest recent AI!!! If I were you I’d be dancing

I don't see the AT-X gaining value in the used market, not like the AW.
The AW is iconic, largely due to its war time presence. The AT-X doesn't have that.
That said, $4250 is a great price, I would be happy. A rifle is a tool, not a collectors item. Use it and be happy, it's still a great rifle.
Sadly, European based companies (yes, AI has a NA division, but it's still largely a European company) are not known for their CS.
Surgeon's are great, enjoy the new project! Sounds like it's going to be a great rifle.
I don't think AI has any interest in competing with the custom rifle market.
They primarily build rifles for .gov use, worldwide. And they are happy to sell civi's those same rifles.
What makes an AI an AI is that every part of the rifle is designed and built under one roof. Every part is designed to work specifically with the rifle. This is what's led to AI's legacy as a "bullet proof" hard use rifle.
It's the opposite of a "custom" rifle, where you can mix and match components to build your desired rifle that fits you, with the components of your preference. That's the antithesis of Accuracy International.
While I want to agree with you (hate the AT-X’s looks), over longer periods of time weird stuff happens.
I never would’ve thought the 1970’s curvy Vettes and ESPECIALLY the 1980’s boring-ass Vettes would come back. Specifically the 1984/86 models.
I think they’re edging up in price as people are priced out of the more desirable models. Once people mod what used to be an “ugly” car, tastes morph and people like them.
Not saying an AT-X will ever equal an AW’s price, but I wouldn’t be surprised if in 20-30yrs from now they fetch stupid prices. Aesthetic sensibilities are definitely not absolute.

Take your rifle apart. Check the two bolts/screws that hold the trigger into the action...my guess is that they're loose AF. Apply Loctite and re-torq to spec.

Thanks for that. I had thought you were talking about the pull weight screws at first.
They were not loose AF, I was hoping they would be so I would know that's the problem. Sprayed it out with brake cleaner and it's marginally better.
Here it is cocking 2/5 times, which is better than not cocking at all:
So weird symptom, if I open the bolt quickly there is a brief pause before I hear a quiet click from the trigger, as if something is sticking and not resetting. Running the bolt aggressively makes it worse.
I have never adjusted the trigger at all.

All triggers can fail, the AI comp trigger has a higher rate than their non comp trigger. Unfortunately shit happens. If all hardware is tight, you've flushed with lighter fluid, and still f'd up, contact AINA and send it in for repairs.
Well, that sucks man.
The mounting screws were what caused mine. I did however flush mine out and set it at 1lb first / 13oz second stage. I was having a hard time not going through the wall the second stage was so light on mine (that's just because my fingers are less sensitive than most).
Might not hurt to give that second stage screw a full rotation inward to see if that helps before going through the pain of sending it in.

When the rifle does cock bumping or jarring it does not cause it to fire which I had heard was a symptom of too light a trigger.

Why? Mlok doesn’t allow for thicker profile barrels with all attachments.
That's coming with the Gen 2 AT-XC, due to be released in 2025. MSRP increase of only $1,500 too. No retrofitting and have to buy the new one, but you do get a limited edition decal.
I’m more interested in the NF that has what looks like larger versions of the locking 4-16 turret.
And hate to say it but I’m not a fan of the mlok on that rifle. Another vote for mini dicks here…
I hate to say but the erected keyslot made the ATX almost incompatible with aftermarket keymod accessories. And I ended up with a bunch out dated keymod accessories collecting dusts.
I would send it in. Contact Mile high shooting they are a distributor they may be able to help you out with that issue and expedite a return to the factory. I wouldn’t go messing with it as you may make it worse.
It wasn’t keymod to begin with. I don’t understand the infatuation of wanting to be able to bolt all kinds of “accessories” on.
I don’t understand that ether. Other than a vertical grip on my AR’s I’ve never attached anything to my mlok/keymod or keyslot rails other than pic rails/Arca rails or weight. Which are available in all the platforms
Mlok by design takes up space inside the forend. So either you run a larger forend or smaller barrel diameter to accommodate the screws inside.
Keyslot is flush with the inside of the forend. So it allows you to keep it slimmer with a larger barrel accommodation. It’s also without a doubt the toughest of the three.
I actually wish others chassis makers would adapt the keyslot. Then cheaper accessories like rails and what not would be an option to people as companies like Magpul would start making them
AI isn’t licensing keyslot like Magpul is though so it’s not the aftermarket’s fault.

Here's mine with an 18.5" 260 setup, decided to give myself that little extra for wrench flats, probably not necessary but im happy with it, tbac ultra 9 as well
Yea 18" ATX with a more compact optic is a killer setup.
I wonder if they'll ever release the AT-X AICS for Tikka actions in the US. I could use a T1X rimfire trainer that's close to my normal PRS rifle.
Bugholes has one, as does sawtooth they're pretty low profile. Any picatinny bag rider works honestly. I have one the cheap 3d printed ones off ebay, and it works as good as my sawtooth unit.
