Anyone know how to adjust the ATX hinge? Mine does not fully lock. I can push the buttstock sideways and the hinge unlocks itself.
I couldn't get my fuzion(very close to an AW cut impact) to run 100% reliable with aw mags. It's flawless with ARC aics mags. They're discontinued unfortunately. Someone needs produce a longer mag latch for the aics atx chassis for the guys not running 3lug actions to run aw mags. I'm sure accurate or mdt mags will work too, I just don't use themAnyone here mate an AT-X and impact 737 together? Looking to see what double stack mags I can run, If the AX/AT-X 6677 mags fit ?
I mean it’s an AW cut action and I removed the mag stop to run AW. So I feel like it should but that’s a pricey mag to “try” if it doesn’t work . On top of that AI has different marked AW mags, ex: AT/AW and A /ATX so even to try it don’t know which oneI couldn't get my fuzion(very close to an AW cut impact) to run 100% reliable with aw mags. Tried them all, I have at, aw, the push feed needs more case head presentation. My Cous De grace runs em perfectly. Magazine height needs pushed up in the atx chassis. Brazing a bit of metal below the mag latch and file fit would work no doubt. Prob why ai named it the atx aics chassis. Try opening feed lips a bit to have case head more presentable, may work for you! Didn't for me.I mean it’s an AW cut action and I removed the mag stop to run AW. Yikes, can't help you but did you get it figured out?If my rifle won't stay cocked can someone tell me which trigger screw to adjust? I'm in the middle of a match with a broken rifle so any information would be appreciated.
It slam fired twice now it won't cock on closing. Luckily I had a Tikka in the truck.
$4250 is like, the cheapest recent AI!!! If I were you I’d be dancing
I mean, just wait 30yrs and profit like an AW!
I mean, by then all of the AW, AT,
& AX shooters will have died from all of the million catastrophic failures that AI’s are well known for.
It’ll be a seller’s market bruh!!!
Great question...it isn't the simple trigger issue/fix that I had earlier. That was as much on me as anything else for not checking to see if anything loosened up.
If you go to page 100, and start on post 4,964 and go down to the bottom of the page you'll see where my factory 6.5CM barrel shot okay out of the box, but had/has a significant copper fouling issue - as in after shot #4 I stuck a patch halfway down it and broke a cleaning rod getting it out. I'm at 58 shots on that barrel now, and it just sits in the corner...waiting on me to start messing with it again. I had it looked at, and I'll leave it at that due to the rash of expulsions on this site lately. Let's just say that it still holds copper. I emailed and also called and left a message with AINA. I never hear back.
In fairness though, I have a factory 6CM barrel too, and it hammers with 108 ELD-M and H4350 across probably the widest charge range of any barrel I've owned.
The #1 gripe is essentially being ghosted by the company itself. For two years there were requests by consumers and little hints by the company at things like magnum bolts. Plus items like the gen 1-2 cheek and LOP...it seems like the company is good at making upgrades...but you have to buy the new model (and take a bath on the old) to get them... screw retrofitting. Add in part availability and support for legacy models and it just doesn't appeal enough *to me* anymore to buy another. Not that I don't enjoy my rifle, because I do. Like I said earlier, I wanted one for 20 years.

Conversely, a week ago I found online an like new custom build (decade + old) on an old Prague, OK - built Surgeon 1086 action. I know the gunsmith who built it, and he used to work at Surgeon back in the day (I really wanted a Surgeon back then too). A 30 minute phone call later, and he's not only going to spin me up more barrels, but is also going to be my source for the vice and action wrench so I can have prefits done by him. He seemed just as excited about the project as I am, and actually gave me all of the original build info. He's also the guy who was happy to measure and spin up a new barrel for my AT-X, and now has everything to do prefits for them too.
When I spend several months' worth of disposable income on a 'want' and not a need, I appreciate a little customer service. You're not required to give a shit about me, but I'm not required to make more purchases either.
Understandable.
I don't think there will ever be a world in which AI is a real competitor to the custom action companies when it comes to options, CS and ongoing upgrades.
I guess where AI have run into problems is trying to appeal to the competition market but not offering the same level of CS as people are used to. Perhaps they didn't anticipate the difference in the customers between those wanting a military rifle vs a purpose built custom rifle.
While I want to agree with you (hate the AT-X’s looks), over longer periods of time weird stuff happens.I don't see the AT-X gaining value in the used market, not like the AW.
I think the trigger screw came loose like happened to someone else.Yikes, can't help you but did you get it figured out?

Thanks for that. I had thought you were talking about the pull weight screws at first.Take your rifle apart. Check the two bolts/screws that hold the trigger into the action...my guess is that they're loose AF. Apply Loctite and re-torq to spec.
This happened to me recently.
Thanks for that. I had thought you were talking about the pull weight screws at first.
They were not loose AF, I was hoping they would be so I would know that's the problem. Sprayed it out with brake cleaner and it's marginally better.
Here it is cocking 2/5 times, which is better than not cocking at all:
So weird symptom, if I open the bolt quickly there is a brief pause before I hear a quiet click from the trigger, as if something is sticking and not resetting. Running the bolt aggressively makes it worse.
I have never adjusted the trigger at all.
No as it was at the reccomended 1.5 pounds and I didn't want to mess with it.@Rodney65 have you tried setting the trigger at a heavy weight?

Thanks. I really appreciate the feedback. I will take it apart again when I get some free time.Well, that sucks man.
The mounting screws were what caused mine. I did however flush mine out and set it at 1lb first / 13oz second stage. I was having a hard time not going through the wall the second stage was so light on mine (that's just because my fingers are less sensitive than most).
Might not hurt to give that second stage screw a full rotation inward to see if that helps before going through the pain of sending it in.
Why? Mlok doesn’t allow for thicker profile barrels with all attachments. Here’s hoping the new AT-XC has the MLOK option for civvysView attachment 8418809

I’m more interested in the NF that has what looks like larger versions of the locking 4-16 turret. Here’s hoping the new AT-XC has the MLOK option for civvysView attachment 8418809
I would send it in. Contact Mile high shooting they are a distributor they may be able to help you out with that issue and expedite a return to the factory. I wouldn’t go messing with it as you may make it worse.Anyone know how to adjust the ATX hinge? Mine does not fully lock. I can push the buttstock sideways and the hinge unlocks itself.
It wasn’t keymod to begin with. I don’t understand the infatuation of wanting to be able to bolt all kinds of “accessories” on.I hate to say but the erected keyslot made the ATX almost incompatible with aftermarket keymod accessories. And I ended up with a bunch out dated keymod accessories collecting dusts.
I don’t understand that ether. Other than a vertical grip on my AR’s I’ve never attached anything to my mlok/keymod or keyslot rails other than pic rails/Arca rails or weight. Which are available in all the platformsIt wasn’t keymod to begin with. I don’t understand the infatuation of wanting to be able to bolt all kinds of “accessories” on.
AI isn’t licensing keyslot like Magpul is though so it’s not the aftermarket’s fault.I actually wish others chassis makers would adapt the keyslot. Then cheaper accessories like rails and what not would be an option to people as companies like Magpul would start making them
18” 308 barrel. Juuuuust clearsWho is running an 18" barrel in their ATX? Debating on a CSR setup with an ATX.
Have a photo of the whole rig?18” 308 barrel. Juuuuust clears

This is 17.75" cut by ADCO. It's a bit recessed.Thank you! It looks awesome. It looks like I could do 17.5" to get it as short as possible.
Thank you. I guess my best bet is to just mark where I want the shoulder on the muzzle before sending it to be chopped. This is 17.75" cut by ADCO. It's a bit recessed.
Here's mine with an 18.5" 260 setup, decided to give myself that little extra for wrench flats, probably not necessary but im happy with it, tbac ultra 9 as wellWho is running an 18" barrel in their ATX? Debating on a CSR setup with an ATX.
Yea 18" ATX with a more compact optic is a killer setup.18" 6.5 creed
Bugholes has one, as does sawtooth they're pretty low profile. Any picatinny bag rider works honestly. I have one the cheap 3d printed ones off ebay, and it works as good as my sawtooth unit.whats the go to bag rider?
