Accuracy International AXMC - Comp Trigger Install Info and Feedback?

Pardon me if I missed finding this elsewhere on the hide, but I couldn’t locate the install info during my search.

So on my AX308, I’d like to the install the new AI Competion trigger that I purchased.
But I can’t find any data whatsoever on the rifle to do this.
I’m a SIG Sauer armorer for all pistols and rifles, so have the skillset and tooling, but info on the AI seems rather limited.
Taking an AI armorer course is on my short list, but I’d prefer not to wait 6 months until that is completed to do the install.

Curious for those who have installed the AI competition trigger, how you have found it, and if you’ve made adjustments, or perhaps even switched back to the military tigger than comes with the rifle.

I installed my own , it was very easy. Don’t be afraid by any means! I did adjust both stages and to do so you have to remove it from the rifle for the first stage I believe. As others have said it is very well worth it!

I ordered mine with the competition trigger already installed by MHSA. I have the regular trigger in my parts bin still but I don't have an interest in using it for now. The competition trigger is the nicest one I've ever used so far.

Curious for those who have installed the AI competition trigger, how you have found it, and if you’ve made adjustments, or perhaps even switched back to the military tigger than comes with the rifle.

I have two of the Competition Triggers installed, initially set with cumulative trigger weights at exactly 600 grams (100 grams first stage, 500 grams 2nd stage - I know this seems weird, but I really like it this way).

Despite setting both at the exact same weight, I noticed that I had to fiddle with the weights somewhat to make them feel identical. They probably have different first stage (and, consequently - cumulative) trigger pull weights now.

Thanks for the all the feedback, installed the new trigger in the AX308 tonight, and WOW, it was scary light.
But good for comp I guess. I had to adjust it up a bit, closer to 1.25 to 1.3 lbs until it felt right to me.
Stiffened up the 1st stage as well, breaks like glass.

Just a quick A/B test, I reinstalled the factory trigger, which breaks very crisply, but wow, did it feel heavy now, crazy heavy.
Saving the the factory trigger in my ruck, just in case when I go to the range, but overall, very impressed with the new Accuracy International Competition Trigger, ad me to the list!
